The AMC Institute (AMCI) is the premier non-profit trade organization for association management companies (AMCs)— for-profit businesses that manage multiple nonprofit organizations. With 180 AMC members managing more than 1,800 associations representing 2.8 million individual members, AMCI plays a crucial role in strengthening the association management profession and ensuring nonprofits receive quality management services.
AMCI is the only organization that is focused on networking and education for AMCs—providing these businesses with a destination to collaborate and discuss the challenges that AMCs face. By hosting in-person events like their annual conference, AMCI members are able to network with other AMC owners to share ideas and learn from each other how to better run their businesses.
AMCI recognized the valuable opportunity for expanded reach that online access to their conference sessions would provide members. In 2016, they sought out a partner and platform that would enable them to repurpose their in-person sessions as on-demand online content.
For nearly a decade, AMCI and Blue Sky eLearn have partnered to provide online learning to AMCI members. What began as simply hosting AMCI's conference session recordings has evolved into a comprehensive partnership, expanding as professionals increasingly prefer online learning for its self-paced flexibility.
Blue Sky eLearn’s Path LMS™ is home to AMCI’s Professional Advancement Online, which provides learning experiences designed to develop AMC competencies and hosts a wide range of AMC-focused educational content for all levels of professionals.
Path LMS hosts AMCI's live webinars on current industry topics, programs and services, and membership updates. The content of their popular EduSeries webinars is member-driven based on session submissions for AMCI’s in-person meetings and other topics that come up throughout the year. Building on this success, AMCI's Path LMS site has grown to host nearly 150 on-demand courses accessible to members at their convenience.

The content for these programs is delivered in Path LMS through multiple formats including instructional video presentations, digital workbooks, resources, surveys, and final quizzes. Upon completion, learners automatically receive custom-branded certificates or badges for their achievements.
