The North Carolina Bar Association (NCBA) is a prominent legal association serving 16,000+ members. A voluntary membership organization of lawyers, judges, paralegals and law students, the NCBA is dedicated to serving the public and the legal profession.
The NCBA faced the challenge of enhancing its continuing legal education (CLE) delivery during the COVID-19 pandemic. While the NCBA had previously conducted online broadcasts, the transition to Blue Sky eLearn's Path LMS was driven by the need for a more seamless integration with their new AMS and a more user-friendly catalog layout.

In July 2020, the NCBA partnered with Blue Sky eLearn to utilize the Path LMS™ platform and virtual event services. This strategic collaboration aimed to not only increase the number of simulcasted live virtual events, but also enhance the overall learning experience through advanced technology and support.

The NCBA looks to Blue Sky eLearn’s virtual events team to supplement their in-house staff and maintain a consistent, high-quality streaming experience. Broadcasting up to 5 events per week, Blue Sky eLearn’s virtual event services provide technical support, quality assurance, and recordings for live-streamed events.

By leveraging Path LMS, the NCBA has successfully expanded its library of CLE programs, offering over 100 hours of new training content annually. This expansion has not only maintained but enriched the professional development opportunities available to members and non-members alike.
